Known for their blend of buzz-saw twin guitars, booming horns and a high-octane live set, Kaurna Land / Adelaide based Coldwave craft an abrasive brand of post-punk that is controlled in its chaos. With a sound described by Triple J’s Dave Ruby Howe as “pulse accelerant”, the Adelaide band contrasts frantic instrumentation with uncompromising, half-spoken vocal delivery.
