New Year's Eve at Cockatoo Island is a chance to celebrate a new dawn with friends and family on the world’s best harbour. As a camper, you’ll spend the biggest night of the year close to the action but far from the crowds! In addition to award-winning accommodation, you’ll enjoy incredible views of the city's world-famous NYE fireworks.

A range of pre-erected tents are available on the Northern and Eastern aprons as part of our Basic and Deluxe Camping Packages. Plus, an area of the Eastern Aprons is reserved for guests who wish to bring their own tent. Want a hassle-free stay? Purchase one of our basic or deluxe camping packages. Camping packages

There are multiple options to choose from, catering for different preferences, budgets, and family sizes:

• Camping Site Only (Harbour Bridge View) – [BYO tent | Sleeps 4] – $500 (plus booking fee)

• Camping Site Only (Harbour Bridge View) - [BYO tent | Sleeps 6] - $650 (plus booking fee)

• Basic Camping Package (Woolwich View) – [2 sleeping mats | Sleeps 3 adults OR 2 adults & 2 small children] - $600 (plus booking fee)

• Deluxe Package (Woolwich View) – [2 raised stretcher beds | Sleeps 2] – $800 (plus booking fee)

• Deluxe Waterfront Package (Woolwich View) – [2 raised stretcher beds | Sleeps 2**] – $950 (plus booking fee)

• Deluxe Waterfront Package (Harbour Bridge View) – [2 raised stretcher beds | Sleeps 2] – $1,220 (plus booking fee)

• Premium Deluxe Waterfront package (Woolwich view) - [Double bed | Sleeps 2 adults] - $1,320 (plus booking fee)

• Two-Bedroom Deluxe Waterfront Package (Woolwich View) – [4 raised stretcher beds | Sleeps 4**] – $1,850 (plus booking fee)

** The Deluxe Waterfront Package (Woolwich View) can accommodate up to 1 additional person and the Two-Bedroom Deluxe Waterfront Package (Woolwich View) can accommodate up to 2 additional people. We will provide additional guests with sleeping mats, pillows and towels; however, they must supply their own sleeping bags.

Important details

• Each camping package includes a 2-night stay – check-in is between 12 noon and 5pm on Monday 30 December and for late arrivals between 9am and 12 noon on Tuesday 31 December 2024. Check-out is by 12 noon on Wednesday 1 January 2025.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• No refunds are permitted and any changes to ticket names need to be made no less than 2 weeks prior to arrival. After this time no changes can be made.
• The maximum number of occupants for each camping package cannot be exceeded. Any additional persons, as set out in the permissible extras, need to be secured at time of making your booking. This includes all infants and children.
