Chris Lanzon is embarking on The Angel Litany Tour, a live celebration of his latest EP, Angel Litany all across Australia, releasing on September 12, 2024.

“Angel Litany" is a project defined by comfort and cohesion, with songs that examine the co-existence of love and pain. Collaborating and working with other artists including Harmony (formerly of Girlpool), Deb Never, and Blake Rose, each track represents a moment of serendipitous connection, born from first-time collaborations that brought out a special kind of magic in the songwriting process. The project embodies Chris’s determination to show up for the people he loves, even through the pain of distance and emotional barriers that often accompany deep human connections.  Join Chris as he performs the Angel Litany EP in full for the first time with special guests.

Tour Dates:

October 11th [Fri] – Sydney, Waywards

October 18th [Fri] – Brisbane, Valley Loft

October 20th [Sun] – Melbourne, Bergy Seltzer

Chris Lanzon makes music imbued with a warmth and melancholy reminiscent of a sun-faded, well-loved journal. His work is steeped in the delicate, sepia tones of indie-pop and folk, blending melodies and songwriting that linger like the last light of the day. It is a youthfulness, tempered with the deep wisdom of a mind that’s seen the best and the worst of the world, yet still believes in the magic of a simple moment. Chris has emerged as a beacon for those who find solace in the understated and the sincere, each song a conversation - a campfire confession that is profoundly personal and universally resonant.

Drawn to songwriting as early as age 4, with a toy tape recorder in hand capturing his surroundings and perspective - Chris has always felt that music was his most natural form of self-expression. His teen years saw him journey from busking to being a finalist in a national TV music competition, and a key member of a successful pop band. However, a decision to step away from the industry in 2018 led the now 24-year-old to where he resides today as a storyteller, opening the doors to self-discovery and a newfound depth in his work.
