BETH MCCARTHY 'IDK How To Talk To Aussie Girls' TOUR
UK pop-rock artist Beth McCarthy is heading to Australia for the first time, bringing hits from her debut release 'IDK How To Talk To Girls' down under.
Known for viral tracks like “She Gets The Flowers” and “Omg Did She Call Him Baby?”, fans can hear their favourite tracks live across the East Coast at Brisbane’s The Brightside on 9 October, Melbourne’s Howler on 12 October and Factory Theatre in Sydney on 13 October.
Exploding on the internet in 2021, Beth McCarthy has built a community of 1.6 million across her platforms, sharing audiences with the likes of Chappel Roan and Renee Rapp. Her 2024 EP IDK How To Talk To Girls hit over 60 million streams, selling out tour dates across the UK and Europe.
Beth’s latest single “Good Bi”, supported by Instagram UK’s Next Generation Artists Programme, gained major BBC Radio 1 support and captured the attention of Australia’s very own LGBTQ+ icon G Flip. Beth McCarthy navigates identity, love and friendships with charm and unapologetic vulnerability.Originally hailing from York in England, London-based Beth McCarthy has played main stages at major festivals across UK and EU, including the iconic BBC R1's Big Weekend, PinkPop, Pride events in multiple European cities and Reeperbahn Festival, where Beth is 1 of 6 artists nominated for The Anchor Award 2024.The road ahead promises to be massive for Beth, with the first single from her next project due out in September and a mammoth UK and European tour scheduled for early next year.
