Powerhouse jazz rock

Brekky Boy
“Few greater joys exist than hearing something that surprises the hell out of you – like music did when you were 16. Brekky Boy does that.” - John Shand, Sydney Morning Herald.

Montreux Jazz Award nominees Brekky Boy are a piano-driven powerhouse jazz rock trio hailing from the South Coast, NSW. Drawing on artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, GoGo Penguin, Robert Glasper & The Bad Plus, the instrumental outfit has carved out an invigorating original sound that incorporates elements of jazz, rock, minimalist & folk. The project has been selected to showcase at this year's Jazzahead festival in Germany, the leading trade fair for the international jazz scene.

This will be Brekky Boy's last Sydney show before heading off on their Europe spring/summer tour.

The Serviette Union - a pretty good band. - They are from Sydney - There are four members - They are also friends - They like Huey Lewis

Originating as an isolation autotune cover band, they have since branched out. Now they do autotune originals too. The world tour of 2020 ended at the famous Lazy Bones venue in Marrickville, and they look forward to doing another gig.

It was their smash hit ‘Two Summers Ago’ that saw them gain tens of fans. People were talking about it. Saying things like ‘nice man’, and ‘I listened all the way through’.

Don’t just take these glowing reviews, decide for yourself! (once again at Lazybones)
