In exciting news for fans, California-bred singer-songwriter BANKS is set to make her live return to Australia this November, performing two exclusive nights in Melbourne: Goddess: 10 Year Anniversary Live.

Celebrating the ten-year anniversary of her iconic gold-certified debut album, 2014’s Goddess, BANKS (born Jillian Rose Banks) recently announced a forthcoming acoustic version, titled Goddess: Unplugged. The singer will perform five intimate shows in London, New York and Los Angeles, where she’ll reimagine the album acoustically – underplay shows taking place at the same venues she performed in a decade ago, during the original Goddess tour. 

Now, it’s Melbourne’s turn. BANKS will touch down in November for two exclusive, intimate performances at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre. The show is proudly presented by ALWAYS LIVE, a 17-day celebration of live music across Victoria supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria, and Frontier Touring. “When I’m 100 years old I want to look back on my first album and remember exactly what I was going through in my early 20s,” BANKS told the Sydney Morning Herald back in 2015, upon her first visit to our shores with Laneway Festival. “Everybody has so many different things that they go through and I tried to reflect that on my album. It’s definitely all of my layers and moods.”

Ten years on, the magical Goddess continues to inspire. Don’t miss these special performances, when BANKS takes to the stage to share it once again.
