Join Donna Jackson and her musical friends in a cabaret inspired by a time when gals playing in rock bands was seen as a revolution and dancing hard was the solution. 

There are three opportunities to experience this new work which promises to dance into the theatre light stories from the 1980’s which have been hidden behind a curtain of time but will now revealed at The Kindred Bandroom. 

More Information 

Donna is an award-winning performer, director and writer having received a Fellowship from the Theatre board of Australia Council and has been placed on The Victorian Women’s Honour Role. She founded The Women’s Circus in 1991. 

To quote a review from Stephanie Bunbury in The Age after seeing The Women’s Circus: ‘Donna Jackson looms amazingly in my imagination: surely, she must be an inspirational angel, super vixen or both at once’. 

This show has adult themes and is not recommended for people under 15 years. The running time is 70 minutes with no interval.
