ALIEN ANT FARM & DROWNING POOL ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN CO-HEADLINE TOUR

Two decades after ALIEN ANT FARM topped the charts worldwide with their singles Movies and Smooth Criminal (#3 and #1 on Australian Charts, respectively), you still cannot visit a rock club or turn on rock radio without hearing those songs blasted; evoking joyful memories of a better time when rock music ruled the world and auto-tuned garbage was far off in the distant future.

As great as chart success may be, however, Alien Ant Farm's enduring legacy derives from the seemingly endless catalogue of incredibly crafted and equally worthy alt metal anthems such as Yellow Pages, Homage, Godlike, Glow, Forgive & Forget, Last dAntz, etc. and of course, the energy, ferocity and dedication with which they deliver those songs in a live setting.

Some days ago there was a physical altercation between members of ALIEN ANT FARM and their support band, CKY, while the two bands were on the road together on a sold-out European tour. Despite all our best efforts to mediate and mend relationships and keep the bill together for Australia (including separating flights, accommodation, ground transport, sound-checks, etc) that possibility has proven to be untenable.

We are immensely grateful to DROWNING POOL for altering personal and professional schedules to join this tour as a co-headliner, helping us to not only maintain, but improve the value of the tickets for fans attending the shows.

Since reuniting with vocal powerhouse, Ryan McCombs, Drowning Pool have gone from strength to strength, blowing away audiences at some of the world' premier festival - Aftershock, Nu Metal Revolution, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple, Blue Ridge Rock many others. They will arrive in Australia in February at the peak of their power and looking to lay down a marker.
