Belly dance / African Early Music

Aljamía is a dance, fire arts and music collective inspired by medieval Europe and La Convivencia. Songs and dances from the golden age of Islam and Judaism, Christian musician kings, visionary saints, anonymous minstrels and street performers. Aljamía takes you on a journey to a forgotten and erased past of multiculturalism, wisdom and beauty.
 
The Nomad is a west african trio composed by Malin Sylla, Moussa Diakité & Sibo Bangoura. Combining the traditional sound of Malin's kora with Moussa's renowned guitar style and Sibo's percussion, the trio explores early and contemporary west african music.

Ahlem Art is a belly dance performance group showcasing unique traditional styles. They are presenting the work done in their bellydance school along with their students, as well as a performance by the instructors.
