The Abercrombie welcomes a master of the dancefloor, BADSISTA (Brazil)

As a DJ, Rafaela Andrade AKA BADSISTA channels her culture and history into no-holds-barred sets that explore Chicago house, techno, hip-hop, pop and baile funk. Starting her journey in 2013 BADSISTA has since released prolifically on dance labels from São Paulo to TraTraTrax in Columbia and MAN Recordings in Berlin.

Her endless commitment to nightlife and infectious grooves would lead her into to mix shows for BBC RADIO 1, Worldwide FM, RINSE FM, Dekmantel Brazil and throwing her own parties in São Paulo, BANDITA. Andrade is on a mission to share her sound with the world - touring nonstop for the last few years and even collaborating with artists such as Kelela, LSDXOXO, DJ Babatr and the legendary Tim Maia. 

Now BADSISTA debuts at The Abercrombie with a stellar lineup of some of Sydney's best selectors. 

Caitlin Medcalf + Maz + Cilicia have been hand picked as they all follow a similar suit to the acclaimed Brazilian DJ. Each able to hypnotic and engaging sets out of a modicum of genres - and all DJs we're lucky join us at The Abercrombie!
