Returning to the Abercrombie dance floor is Meanjin's own 1TBSP. 

1tbsp is now the main focal point for AUS artist Maxwell Byrne, after moving his multiple Grammy nominated alias Golden Vessel to side project status. Moving from indie dance and rnb 1TBSP now focuses on club and Baile Funk inspired dance tracks.

The project launched with three stellar singles – "Pioneer Digital Plastic Sound," "No Nein (feat. Mietze Conte)," and "Four Tet Is My Godmother." This marked the precursor to his upcoming EP, "It's Very Loud,". The EP, featuring the aforementioned singles and an unheard gem, included the title track "It's Very Loud," co-written with Squidgenini.

1TBSP released his debut album, "Mosquito Love," in August 2023, comprising eight invigorating tracks that helped solidified 1tbsp's presence on the global scene now headlining shows across asia and touring the festival and radio circuit of early 2024.

Springboarding right off of 1TBSP is our main support DAYZZI fusing tribal basslines and percussive techno tracks to take the night to heavier heights. DAYZZI is no stranger to the Abercrombie or the rest of Sydney quickly becoming one of it's most sort after selectors.
