The 2025 Regional & Remote Music Summit returns for its second year, bringing together artists, industry professionals, community leaders, researchers, and policymakers for a national conversation on the future of music beyond metropolitan areas.

Presented by MusicNSW, this year’s Summit is built around the theme ‘Strengthening Regional Music Communities,’ creating a space for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and action to ensure music remains a driving force for connection and renewal across the regions.

Over two days of discussions, workshops, and music showcases, the Summit will amplify regional voices, tackle key industry challenges, and highlight music’s role in sustaining thriving communities.

Supported by Music Australia and Sound NSW, the Summit is a national platform dedicated to empowering regional and remote music.
