WAT Artists and PBS106.7FM present the launch of The Rookies latest album, ‘Feed The Fire’.

Known for their unrepeatable and wildly produced album launch shows, The Rookies are not taking the release of this record lightly. The album is a radical departure from their previous body of work, and stands as a fierce call to action which demands systemic change and aims to eradicate oppressive systems that have become normalized in our society. This is music that seeks to inspire and motivate us to destroy intrusive intolerance and prejudice before it can take hold.

In their home ground of Fitzroy, they have assembled friends and family for an all night party. Joining The Rookies on stage will be Sampology, Nikodimos and his orchestra, Kuzco, and Ella Stoeckli, promising a night of dancing and community building. Celebrate the importance of nurturing a community and bear witness to The Rookies' unapologetic call for change.

We acknowledge that this event will be held on Wurundjeri land of the Kulin Nation and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
