Programmed by Jane Gazzo
Melbourne darlings The Killjoys play their 1990 ARIA winning debut album 'Ruby' in full for a special one-off performance on the Sound As Ever stage at Leaps and Bounds.
Featuring the classics 'Fall Around Me', 'Michael Told Me' and 'Sometimes Blue' plus the return of Caroline Schwerkolt on vibraphone, this will be a very special performance from a much loved Melbourne band.
Joining The Killjoys is singer songwriter Rob Clarkson, who made his name in the venues of Brunswick Street in the early to mid-90s. Rob later went on to form Ruck Rover with Stanley Paulzen from Tlot Tlot and is probably best remembered for his ‘Beautiful Boys & Beautiful Girls’ EP and ‘Off Your Faith’ LP.
This will be Rob’s first Melbourne show in 10 years.
Completing the line-up are local heroes Glenn Bennie and Vincent Giarrusso from Underground Lovers. Known for their vast back catalogue spanning over two decades and 9 albums, Glenn and Vince will bring a softer and more experimental side of their repertoire when they play Collingwood Town Hall.
