Event Details

Two of Australia's leading voices in Hip Hop, Kobie Dee and Miss Kaninna are teaming up to throw a party at Altar Bar on the 18th of October.

This show will be the last stop for Kobie Dee's National Tour. Come celebrate the new tracks from Kobie's highly anticipated EP - Chapter 26. This will be the hottest party in Nipaluna so don't miss out!

A proud Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon and Yirendali woman, Miss Kaninna is a Naarm-based (Melbourne) First Nations artist, hailing from lutriwita/Tasmania. Making waves with her breakout debut single Blak Britney in May 2023, the rapper/singer/songwriter has been on a meteoric rise, emerging as a potent voice of punk and power in so-called Australia.

Kobie Dee is a 26-year-old Gomeroi artist from Maroubra in South Sydney, Bidjigal Land. With an innate gift for storytelling and connecting with young people, Kobie is deeply engaged in his community through performance and community work, and his passion for his culture and people is inspiring new generations.
