Ishmael Ensemble’s debut Australia tour in 2025 will mark a major milestone for the Bristol-based collective, following the release of their highly acclaimed third album, ‘Rituals’. Known for their boundary-pushing fusion of live instrumentation and electronic soundscapes, Ishmael Ensemble has steadily grown beyond the UK jazz scene to create a sound that blends spiritual jazz, dub, experimental, and electronic music.

Formed in 2017, the group first gained attention with their debut LP A ‘State of Flow’, which earned critical praise from The Guardian and major UK radio figures. Their 2021 follow-up, ‘Visions of Light’, saw even greater success, receiving glowing reviews and being named BBC 6 Music's Album of the Year. Their latest release, ‘Rituals,’ brings a more energetic, almost psychedelic sound, full of swirling colours, textures, and moods.

Following a series of sold-out shows across the UK, Europe, and North America, Ishmael Ensemble is ready to bring their immersive, vibrant live show to Australian audiences for the first time.
