Daisy Sampson is an independent singer-songwriter blending alternative indie folk/pop and neo-soul. At 15, Daisy won a local battle of the bands in Bali, leading to performances at well-known venues. After high school, she studied at Collarts University, where she honed her songwriting skills under mentors like Ainslie Wills, Alex Gow (Oh Mercy), Dallas Frasca and Clio Renner (Rock Quiz).
Following a break to focus on her mental health, she resumed her music career in 2023, studying at Music Production for Women. This year, she’s self-released two singles, along with her debut EP in September. Her music has been positively reviewed on TripleJ Unearthed, aired on PBS and Mansfield Radio, included in Happy Mag Best New Releases and featured on various playlists.
She has performed at festivals like Bali Spirit Festival and GoMAD in India, and at venues in Melbourne such as Yah Yah’s and Grace Darling. In her spare time she teaches piano and hosts her own local radio show.
