Event Details

Automatic is the LA-based trio of Izzy Glaudini (synths, lead vocals), Lola Dompé (drums, vocals) and Halle Saxon (bass, vocals). Uninspired by the masculine energy of the local scene and rock music on the radio — “pumped out like plastic bottles into the ocean” — Izzy ditched her guitar for a synth and joined forces with Halle and Lola to release their debut album ‘Signal’ in 2019.

Automatic have shared the stage with bands including: IDLES, Tame Impala, Crumb and Parquet Courts, performed at festivals including Primavera Sound, Desert Daze and Wide Awake, and headlined tours across the U.S., the UK & Europe, and a fully sold-out Australia & New Zealand tour.

In 2022, Automatic released their second album ‘Excess’ on Stones Throw and it’s excoriation of corporate greed and unflinching look at the climate emergency received acclaim across the board, with positive coverage from The Needle Drop, New York Times, Stereogum, FLOOD, Uproxx, MOJO, and many more. LA’s #1 indie music station, KCRW, named Excess its #4 album of the year, saying: “upon repeated spins, Excess gets better and better. Great band, great records. Run, do not walk, to them.”
