CALLING ALL UNDER 18'S!!
Oxford Art Factory's XraySpeX festival is ecstatic to announce the addition of Sydney's Winston Surfshirt to it's already jam-packed, killer lineup. Fresh off the back of a sold out national tour, the six-piece will be bringing their unique blend of smooth, soulful textures and hip-hop flavours to the already stacked bill to perform alongside fellow legends like Bec Sandridge, Ninajirachi and IV League.
Hopping on Polographia's 2016 hit "Sly" (currently sitting pretty with over three million Spotify streams), Winston began to introduce the world to their silky vocal chops and distinctive vibe. After perfecting their collective sound, they confidently walked into 2017 with their highly successful debut track, "Be About You" and have continued to turn heads with a second, chilled-out offering, "Ali D". With fans like Elton John singing their praise, we are psyched to have them join the XrayspeX line up!

The Oxford Art Factory, in conjunction with MusicNSW and the City of Sydney, today announces the grand return of XraySpeX, an initiative of underage programming whereby students and young people work together with music industry professionals to create a series of events showcasing great Australian music to an underage audience.
The event is built to expose students to live music while giving those involved in the production of the event, an experience normally only obtained by professionals. Originally launched in 2008, XraySpeX, saw the likes the Tame Impala, The Presets, Art vs. Science, The Jezabels and Cut Off Your Hands play their first shows at the Oxford Art Factory and in 2017 we proudly announce it's return.
