Fresh from a string of festival and support appearances, Sydney duo World Champion today announce their first ever headline tour. Having played Lost Paradise festival over New Year's Eve and a support slot for Toro Y Moi earlier this month, Will Campion and Julian Sudek will spend February visiting cities nationally.

To celebrate, the pair now share a free download of recent EP cut, "Avocado Moon" - taken from their 'Avocado Galaxy' EP out last month on Future Classic. The Music gave the release four stars, naming it "a healthy dose of fresh psychedelia" and "food for the soul", while Tone Deaf called it an "impressive, very hype worthy EP dripping with dreamy synth pop".

World Champion also welcome bass player Reg Harris to the tour - that sees their live set-up extend to a three-piece. Kicking off the 9-date tour at Mountain Sounds Festival on the Central Coast, they'll then make their way around the nation - landing on Sydney's Northern Beaches for a final show at theNewport Arms.

On supports in Sydney and Melbourne will be golden kraut-pop duo, Mezko. Via Perth and Canberra, the pair are gaining solid attention for a stellar string of singles - receiving spins on triple j and community radio nationwide. Marco Vella and CoCoLo Magic Pirate also join the party in Sydney - with further exciting guests to be announced in other cities shortly.
