Deep Sea Arcade and Hot Mosh have joined forces to curate VISIONS - a new, recurrent music night within Sydney. Presented by Rare Finds, Sailor Jerry's, Who The Hell and The Harbour Agency, the official launch of VISIONS will be held on Saturday the 21st of December at Oxford Arts Factory in Darlinghurst. Deep Sea Arcade will be headlining the inaugural event, with support provided by fellow Sydney-based acts Shining Bird and The Tsars. Hot Mosh will additionally be launching its long-awaited third issue on the night, with limited copies available at the venue.
DEEP SEA ARCADE have spent the best part of the last year living in the UK, soaking up the culture and imparting some of their own as they lay down their sophomore record. Newest single 'Black Cat' is the taster single from the band's forthcoming album (slated for mid-2014) - the follow-up to their 2012 debut Outlands, which had a worldwide 2012 release through Ivy League Records, with singles heavily supported by Triple J, FBI, BBC1, BBC 6, and XFM.
Hot Mosh is a new, Sydney-based independent publication focused on live music, reviews and documentation of Sydney's local music culture. Since the release of its first issue in April 2013, the magazine has already featured the likes of The Gooch Palms, The Preatures, The Creases and Donny Benet alongside an array of photographic essays, information on upcoming gigs and bands as well as some (odd) writing too.
