Cockatoo Island is one of the best places to watch the world-famous New Year's Eve fireworks in Sydney. Enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family, escaping the crowds, long walks home and traffic jams.

It's not all about the fireworks though with a range of kids activities and special guided tours there is always something to do. And it's not all just about the activities either, we have a range of specialty food and beverage stalls to cater for your needs and music to carry you through to the evening.

Staying overnight on Cockatoo Island for New Year's Eve caters to everyone's needs and budgets, from a variety of Glamping and camping options.

Glamping, camping packages and BYO camping.

Tickets for Glamping, camping packages and BYO camping will go on sale on Monday the 15th of May 2017 at 9am through Moshtix.

There are different levels of camping and also a selection of areas to choose from please refer to the map for these locations.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
No refunds or changes to bookings are permitted.
Not transferable.

Inclusions:

Two bedroom Glamping Package

(2 x 3mx3m safari bow tent with connection roof attached) includes: site, tent, 4 camp beds with linen, towels provided, 4 sun lounges, 2 eskies, 2 lanterns. Located on waterfront (Northern Apron)

Max 6 people

Please note that if there are 6 people in the booking, 2 people are required to bring their own sleeping bags. Sleeping mats, pillows and towels will be provided.

Glamping Package
(3mx3m safari bow tent) includes: site, tent, 2 camp beds with linen, towels provided, 2 sun lounges, esky, lantern. Located on waterfront (Northern Apron)

Max 3 people

Please note that if there are 3 people in the booking, 1 person is required to bring their own sleeping bag. A sleeping mat, pillow and towel will be provided.

Mini Glamping
2.4mx2.4m hennie tent) includes: site, tent, 2 single camp beds with linen, towels provided, 2 chairs. Located in Section B

Max 2 people

Camping Package
(2.4m x 2.4m hennie dome tent) includes: site, tent, 2 sleeping mats, 2 chairs

Please Note: TENTS COMFORTABLY SLEEP 3 ADULTS OR 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN

Site only 4 person
4m x 4m site BYO tent etc. Whole "footprint" must be contained within this size

Parking Sites - $125

Parking is at our Site at Hunters Hill, next to the Hunters Hill Sailing club. We will provide water taxi transfer to the island from the parking area and also return you to the same location on New Year's Day.

This service is only available to arrivals from 12noon - 5pm on the 30th and from 9am - 6pm on the 31st December.

Return shuttles be available from 7am - 12noon on the 1st January.

The shuttle is only available to campers who have parked their vehicle in our car park.

Car Parking is valid for the length of your Moshtix booking.

Parking can be booked online at the same time as your Camping or Glamping accommodation through Moshtix and is limited, so get in quick! Each car park ticket is limited to one car and up to 6 persons. If you have additional people or cars you will need to book multiple tickets for car parking /shuttle

2 Night Packages are for the nights of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of December. Additional nights either side of this can be booked at our normal rates once you have a confirmed booking with Moshtix please call us to make this additional reservation on 8969 2111.
