After another busy year of touring and recording we are happy to say that we will be home for Christmas. Come and share in the festive season to end a very special milestone year for TION. Much more than just four great singers, The Idea of North is hands down one of this country's finest musical entertainments. You may have heard and enjoyed the CDs (some of them award-winning), but as good as they are, the best stuff actually happens live. You could say, they're a quartet of musicians, serious about their music without taking themselves too seriously.

DId we just say musicians?? Absolutely. Their voices are their instruments. Soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices to be exact, with a little bit of vocal percussion thrown in. They blend and weave with incredible artistry, and a beautifully distinct sound and style that crosses many musical genres: from jazz, folk and gospel to pop, classical and comedy.

With ten albums in the catalogue, a significant local and international fan base, and plenty of awards, this is one of Australia's most successful acts.
