TEES // Suiix // Holden Hands // Stay At Home Son
Sydney dreamy house pop outfit TEES have announced tour dates, which will see crowds in Wollongong, Melbourne and Sydney brought together by the sounds of new glittery synth track "Got The Feeling". The announcement comes alongside a new video for "Got The Feeling", premiering via I-D today. The video is a stellar accompaniment to the track, serving as a visual translation of what it means to "feel".
TEES teamed up with Mia Middleton to direct the video, which they say "captures the primal absurdity of human behaviour; seeking out textures and colours, transforming the purpose of mundane objects, all in the simple pursuit of sensation. Whatever its form, it feels good."

Described by Casual Band Blogger as "a delicious disco number" upon its release last month, TEES' Lizzy Tillman and Sean Duarte explain "Got The Feeling captures the purity of sensation outside of knowing. Sometimes we get lost and begin to question the truth of experience. Got the feeling reminds us to let go of complications and allow yourself to feel."
Steeped in nostalgia, the Leisure Coast natives create early 90s acid soaked dancehall as if it were floating on a bed of clouds. Their mutual love for creating harmonising melodies alongside pulsating Balereac beats was forged one afternoon alongside a bowl of Thai and a constant supply of peppermint tea with lemon.
From their first single "Playground" to their current late night dance revival jam, TEES have continued to forge their own path of music that reminds all who listen of a time and a sound that cannot so easily be defined.
