I OH YOU and Laneway Presents are thrilled to confirm that English expat singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer SOHN will be making his first appearance on Australian shores this winter, treating Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory to a headline show on June 24.

After producing tracks for the likes of Kwabs and Banks and releasing a handful of acclaimed singles of his own, SOHN - real name Christopher Taylor - released one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year in his debut Tremors (out now through 4AD/Remote Control Records):

Relocating from South London to immerse himself in Vienna's flourishing electronic scene, the album draws inspiration from the two contrasting landscapes that SOHN calls home. Tremors finds the perfect balance between London's buzzing hubbub and Vienna's serene and calming backdrop in eleven hypnotic tracks including lead single 'Artifice'.

Recorded entirely at night,SOHN would finish each overnight recording session with a cold sunrise on his walk home from the studio. The influence of the lush and cinematic scenery that surrounded him during the recording process can be seen in Tremors' breathy and sparse sound.
