Skunkbone Debut Album Launch Party

Skunkbone blend simplicity and emotion into their new album ‘Infirmity' due for release November 2021.

The Trio used their time in lockdown wisely and went about making music that resonated with why they wanted to play and perform in the first place. Taking influences from Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Seether, Stone Temple Pilots and Smashing Pumpkins they brought things back to the core. In the midst of the 2020 Covid saw many lockdowns and the guys didn’t see the situation as a setback. They saw it as an opportunity with more time to focus on what they love to do and that's make music.
They put their heads together and  Skunkbone was born. Frontman Corey Swan (formerly of The Killing Stroke and Anomara), Bass player Raff (formerly of Tensions Arise and Acid Nymph), and Drummer Zac Davey (formerly of Leafsteam and Acid Nymph) reconnected and everything fell into place. Skunkbone is an addicting mixture of honest lyrics, earworm melodies, driving guitar, thick and juicy bass tones with a high energy that will leave you wanting for more.

Killpill  are a Punk Metal alternative sound from Ipswich.

Front Man Bud Beckett has had a varied history in the music scene in Brisbane and this charismatic front man knows how to get a place moving. Known for his high energy shows Bud is joined by Eva on bass and vocals.

The Gold Coast duo Atticus Chimps  are a rock music nuke with connotations from rock bands of bygone eras. Sam and Dan are oozing with the kind of passion and intensity that will leave crowds reeling.

If you can't join 'em, beat 'em. - that's what you will hear from Brisbane band Tailor Made Rejects.
an Alternative-rock group they will be coming at you hard!

Dark. Melancholic and layered. Ravindra is a grunge rock band that also fuses the divergent sounds of sax, flute and piano solos into their set. New to the Brisbane scene but no strangers to music this ensemble will set the mood for what the night will hold .
