Despite releasing only a small handful of records since his white label debut in 2011, Objekt has quickly become one of the most critically lauded producers in recent years.

Following on the release of his new 12" Objekt #4, next year he'll return to Australian shores for his first Aussie tour in 5 years. Playing a slot at Golden Plains Festival as well as headline shows in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne & Perth. His singles, from the Objekt #1 #4 white label series to Hypnagogia and 2012's Cactus/Porcupine on Hessle Audio, pointedly flout techno conventions while maintaining an unfaltering club focus. His style is drawn from Autechre, golden era Warp and frenetic electro as well as from classic and contemporary house and techno. Flatland, his debut album, was released on PAN back in 2014 and pushed the boundaries of sonic and structural experimentation, without losing the musicality and physicality that make his singles so compelling. Flatland was featured widely in the 2014 end of year album lists, and the single, 'Ganzfeld' scored the #1 spot in Resident Advisor's top tracks of 2014. Flexing his skills for Boiler Room at Dekmantel 2015, Objekt cemented his place amongst the world's respected selectors.
