Way-2-Fonky & Joint Adventure are pleased to welcome an absolute legend of the game to Sydney, as Brooklyn's MASTA ACE joins EMC-cohort STRICKLIN and NYC producer MARCO POLO for a night in the most golden of era's.

With a career spanning over two decades, Masta Ace has proven his title as one of New York's most influential and skilled MC's. Originally introduced on the classic Juice Crew cut 'The Symphony' in 1988, Ace achieved a major break with 1993's SLAUGHTAHOUSE - with four singles (including the smash hit 'Jeep Ass Nigguh') that kept the album charting for 16 months. 1995's 'Sittin on Chrome' (released with Master Ace Incorporated) led to a brief hiatus from Hip Hop, before 2004's acclaimed concept album 'Long Ass Summer' marking his return to Hip Hop stardom (and a colab with Stricklin, Punchline & Wordworth as EMC). His legacy is noted by many high profile figures in the hip hop world, with stars from Eminem to KRS-One listing him as a contemporary and strong influence.

Masta Ace is joined by long time collaborator and EMC cohort Stricklin, alongside acclaimed NYC hip-hop producer Marco Polo, famed for working with the likes of Talib Kweli, Pharoah Monch, Torae and Vinnie Paz.

Supported by Mr. Clean, DJ Mike Who and Frenzie, this is a one off chance to see a slew of east coast legends live in the flesh.
