Three years since the release of their game-changing debut album, esteemed psych-pop trio Jagwar Ma are back with new single 'O B 1'. The track just premiered on triple j, just in time for their upcoming performance at Splendour In The Grass.

'O B 1' is the first taste of the group's second album, Every Now & Then, set for release this October via Future Classic. The single encapsulates the band at their most entrancing and anthemic - a wig out of oscillating acid basslines, ricocheting dub-fused guitars and heady pop psychedelia bathed in strobe-lit sonics.

The track was produced by Jono Ma with bandmate Gab Winterfield across the lyrics. Long term studio collaborator DJ Ewan Pearson was on mixing duties, Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa stepped in on the drums and production wizard James Ford completed the team.

Ma also cut together the accompanying video for 'O B 1', which premiered on Pitchfork overnight. The video gives viewers an insight into the journey Jagwar Ma have been on over the past few years, capturing key moments such as global studio sessions and appearances at Coachella, Summersonic and Glastonbury.

In support of the new single, Jagwar Ma are back in Australia for the first time in nearly two years. They'll be playing the Mix Up Stage at Splendour in the Grass at 4:30pm on Sunday, and have just announced two secret club dates as a warm up - details below:
