After years of unprecedented fan demand, The Oxford Art Factory and Reboot PR, in conjunction with Turn Left Distribution and QV Software are thrilled to announce the return of Insert Coin(s) to Sydney nights starting August 6, 2015.

After a stellar series of events in 2011-12 that combined old-school '80s-style arcade gaming and hot upcoming games, DJs, dancing, food and fun, Insert Coin(s) is back and better than ever. To kick things off with a serious bang, Insert Coin(s) will play host to the first-ever Australian public hands-on of Capcom's hotly-anticipated fighting game, Street Fighter V. Fans who dress up in Street Fighter cosplay can also win awesome prizes too.

The Insert Coin(s) event series pays tribute to old school arcades, bringing together games, music and geek culture and fashion in a venue that is already known for setting the trends in these spaces. Attendees pay just $15 at the door or via Moshtix for a night of retro gaming (tabletop, pinball and standing arcade units) and the latest gaming titles.

In addition to free candy, Woofy's hot dog cart will also serve grass-fed Angus beef hotdogs with all kinds of toppings. Street Fighter-themed cocktails will also be available in red 'Ryu' and blue 'Chun-Li' varieties - but get in quick!

The daring punters arriving in Street Fighter cosplay have the chance to win exclusive prizes from Turn Left Distribution and QVS! Whether you buy it online or borrow your mum's sewing machine, we want to see you dressed up!

Our photographer will snap pictures of the best dressed (in any theme) and add them to a gallery on the new and official Insert Coin(s) Facebook page. The cosplayer with the most likes by the week of our next event will WIN FREE ENTRY for themselves and four friends to the following Insert Coin(s)!
