On May 1st Hamish Anderson will take the stage to release his self-titled debut EP at The Toff in Town. The EP encompasses a mix of blues, rock and folk and the young artist calls the recording a special experience, especially with producer Eric J. Dubowsky (Art vs. Science, Weezer). Add to that musicians on the EP including Rami Jaffee (keyboardist for the Foo Fighters and The Wallflowers) and bassist Rob Calder (from Angus & Julia Stone’s band). A chart-topper in 2011’s JJJ Unearthed charts in the pop/rock category, Hamish and his band have spent the last year supporting artists like Patrick James and Van Myer at venues like The Workers Club, Gershwin Room and The Evelyn to name a few. The launch at The Toff with supports from The Walters and Tanya Batt is sure to be a great night of music and a perfect release for the EP.
