Galata Express is an eight-piece collection of bohemians exploring the sounds of the streets of Istanbul. Five members of the band were born and raised overseas (Turkey, Macedonia and New Zealand) and moved to Australia to immerse themselves in the magical melting pot that is Melbourne's multicultural music scene. Frequently selling out the city's most renowned band rooms, join them at Bar Open for the venue's 20th anniversary celebrations.
With special guest DJ Adriana, host of PBS 106.7FM world music program 'Opalakia'.
