Scotland's finest Frightened Rabbit have today announced a March tour in support of their fifth album "Painting of a Panic Attack", including The Triffid in Brisbane on Thursday 9th March, Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on Friday 10th March and finishing up at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Sunday 12th March.
The Australian tour follows a packed schedule of headline shows and festivals across the globe with performances at Glastonbury, Latitude, T in the Park, Newport Folk Festival, Lollapalooza in Chicago, as well as a set at Osheaga Festival in Montreal.
Released in April, "Painting of a Panic Attack" - produced by The National's Aaron Dessner - enjoyed a Top 25 debut on the USA Billboard 200 chart, and peaked at #2 on iTunes' Alternative chart with over 2.5 million streams on Spotify.
The band's previous record Pedestrian Verse was released to much critical acclaim in February 2013, hitting the Top 10 in the UK charts.Previously, they released three hugely critically acclaimed albums Sing The Greys, The Midnight Organ Fight and The Winter Of Mixed Drinks on independent label Fatcat Records.
