Legendary Australian slide guitarist Dave Hole is stepping out for his first national tour in 8 years, later this year

Learning his trade in the Western Australian pub scene in the 70's and 80's, Dave Hole shot to international stardom with his highly acclaimed 'Short Fuse Blues' released globally in 1990.

Alligator records founder Bruce Iglauer signed Hole internationally on the strength of his first album and has since gone on to record 9 albums and continually tour the world to sell out audiences.

Dave Hole is making his long awaited return to the Australian in a way that fans have always wanted, but until now has never been seen. The tour will be performed in 'Acoustic' mode which is something Dave has resisted for many years.

Over the past summer Dave started fooling around with the acoustic idea. Backed by his rhythm section of Roy Daniel and Ace Follington the idea has now progressed into a show that shifts the goal posts again on Dave Holes journey through the world of Blues.

The energy and intensity of the Dave Hole 'Acoustic' show is very special and given that is will be a 'one off' tour makes it all the more reason to get along to a show. A combination of Dave's own material with a handful of select classic's sets the scene.

Be warned, even though the show is acoustic, make sure you are buckled into your chair from the outset, because you all know how powerful and moving a Dave Hole performance is guaranteed to be........be prepared
