Australian riff rock trio, Dallas Frasca will release their highly anticipated third studio album, 'Love Army', on April 17th. The new album release coincides with a tour announcement and signing a record deal with Australian independent label Social Family Records. This triple announcement is the culmination of almost 10 years of hard work, performing over 700 shows, seven international tours and fast becoming one of Australia's most exciting and revered bands across the globe.
Leading the charge, by what Sydney Morning Herald has claimed to be the "best female-fronted act in Australia", is the eccentric and powerhouse front lady, Dallas Frasca herself on electric guitar and vocals. With no bass and a sound fatter than mud she is backed by the upside down, left-handed guitarist, Jeff Curran and Josh Eales on drums that complete the explosive and irresistible trio.
Renowned for their electrifying live shows, Dallas Frasca recently played to a 40,000+ strong crowd in Le Mans in France as a part of the 24hr Circuit race, and have been since labelled by the Europeans as "the next AC/DC". Support slots have included Patti Smith, Triggerfinger, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Van Halen, The Tea Party and festivals all throughout Europe and the U.K alongside 30 Seconds to Mars and many more.
'Love Army' was written across the globe during their five international tours over the past two years. The album was produced by New York based producer, Andy Baldwin (Bjork, St Lucia, Cat Empire), engineered by Richard Stolz at Woodstock Studios in Melbourne and mastered by Joe LaPorta (Sterling Sound, NYC - Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend, The Killers).
They are all eager to unleash and deliver their new material onto their Australian supporters, they kick off their national tour to launch 'Love Army' in May 2015.
