Hot on the heels of the announcement of Atlas Genius being special guests on the Stereophonics run of Australian dates, the critic & fan favourites will also play three intimate dates starting in Sydney and ending in their home-town of Adelaide.
This follows a massive two-month-plus debut US headline tour, including two sold-out shows at NYC's legendary Bowery Ballroom and rave reviews of their SXSW showcase from both international & local media alike:
"One of the year's best and most warmly received bands to showcase at this year's South By Southwest fest was Atlas Genius-a refreshingly melodic combo from Adelaide" - www.yahoo.com

Previous tours of the US with bands such as Silversun Pickups, Wolf Gang and Imagine Dragons, teamed with strong performances on major US chat shows Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Letterman have propelled the band into the spotlight, earning their debut hit single 'Trojans' US sales of more than 250,000.
Atlas Genius can be credited with approaching their career in music a little differently to most. They built a studio in Adelaide to write and record three years before they even performed their first live show. 'Trojans' was the first song the then unsigned Adelaide band ever recorded. After it was distributed online in May 2011 via SoundCloud, Spotify, iTunes and the triple j Unearthed sites, blog Neon Gold's high praise of the tune and the subsequent enormous buzz lead to plays on MTV's 120 Minutes and Sirius XM's Alt Nation channel, and iTunes Single of the Week in Australia and New Zealand.
When It Was Now, the debut album fromAtlas Genius is available now via Warner Music Australia.
