It’s that time of the year again and the Astral People family are gearing up to celebrate yet another year of parties, countless international tours and most importantly our family of local artists ~ and we’ve found just the secret venue to do it in!

We are proud to celebrate the abandonment of our day jobs in pursuit of something different within the Australian music scene. We have been thrilled to watch our small initial roster of acts expand into a home for over 25 emerging artists whilst creating a community in which they can flourish within.

From our very first meeting at Dimitri's Pizza, we established the ethos and culture we hoped to produce both within the Astral People company and within the party scene here in Sydney. We've undoubtedly got a long way to go and plenty of big plans for the future, but we're keen to relish in the amazing artists we have on board here, therefore our 4th birthday party will be a celebration of everything our acts have achieved and the many ways in which they have enriched our lives.

This last year has been an especially remarkable one, bringing with it a huge number of proud dad moments including introducing Sydney to our summer child SUMMER DANCE, which allowed a number of our locals to share the spotlight with some HUGE international names whilst we all got to marvell in the sun surrounded by Darlinghurst's former gaol and it's sandstone walls.

We watched while our tiny little OutsideIn Festival make the step into adulthood by moving to Manning House where it reached brand new heights and showed off its post pubescent form.

But to be completely honest, nothing has made us prouder than watching our local artists take the next step in their careers. We've been clapping from the sideline like overly enthusiastic parents while they continue to kick goals and wave the Astral flag on our shores and abroad.

To say a big thank you and to commemorate four fruitful years of non-stop tours, parties and tunes, we're holding a Sunday session in a secret car park location for an even larger party than the last. We've got a huge locals only line-up (plus some very special guests) ready for your party pleasure, so wear your d-floor attire and come raise a glass for the year that has passed and for the many more yet to come at our ~secret underground carpark~ location!
