Astral People celebrate their 3rd Birthday with a full venue takeover at Goodgod Small Club.

If you'd told us 3 years ago that we'd still be here today we would have found it very hard to believe. In fact if you would have asked us 3 years ago what we'd be doing today when we had our first initial meets at Dimitri's Pizza on Crown St we probably would have told you that Tom would still be working at his accounting firm, Lee would still be selling ads to god knows who and Vic would be massaging your grandma's crook back as a physio. Through some good fortune we're pleased to say we're not doing any of those things (THANK FUCK!). Instead we've brought you countless internationals, hundreds of memorable parties, a little festival called OutsideIn and our own flavor to the much-loved events like Vivid LIVE, Subsonic and Strawberry Fields Festival. Above all this however, what we've taken the most pride in over the last 3 years is being able to work with so many amazing local artists.

From day one our priority has always been to foster a family and give local artists whom we admired a place to call home. What started as a very small roster at first has blossomed into a home for some 25-odd emerging and cutting edge acts. We've watched our guys grow from their first releases to conquering both local and overseas markets and it's been an absolute pleasure. We've all still got a long way to go but it's our artists that give us the real inspiration to do what we do and hence why our 3rd Birthday will be a celebration of them and all they bring to enriching our lives.

There will be surprises, there will be dancing and there will be real tears. Wear a comfy pair of shoes and head down on Saturday August 30th from 9pm for what will truly be a night to remember. We look forward to celebrating what has been a special year for all involved, and an even better year ahead. To all the managers, bookers, agents, artists, venues, promoters and fans that we've had the pleasure of getting to know over the last 3 years, we look forward to one of the biggest dances of the year with you all as we take over the whole of Goodgod for one night only.
