Tasmanian-born Asta is an Australian artist who claimed the triple j Unearthed High winning title in 2012. Beating 860 entrants and six finalists to the top spot with her debut single 'My Heart Is On Fire', which was also voted into position 50 in the Triple J Hottest 100 in the same year. After releasing her second and third singles 'Escape' and 'I Need Answers', Asta took her sweet indie charm on the road and commenced her first Australian National tour in September 2013, whilst also playing Soundscape Festival, Pyramid Rock & Falls Festival around the country. Asta's newest single 'Dynamite', featuring rapper Allday, is a burst of 80s infused R&B as she experiments with her writing and performance craft. Allday's laconic rap and biting words are the perfect counterpoint to the rocket ship lyrical spirit of the single and the baby diva vocal performance from Asta. With a final sizzle from mix master Sam Littlemore (Peking Duk's 'High'), 'Dynamite' is also a collaboration with new Victorian singer /songwriter Aurelia and Andrew Klippel, producer for Chaka Khan and Earth Wind & Fire.
