4000 Records presents a triple-pronged reason to party at The Triffid Beer Garden on Saturday the 29th of October from 2pm.

Prong 1: The label celebrates its 3rd year of existence and what better excuse to throw a party is there??

The day is designed to be as inclusive as possible with cheap tickets ($10/$15), afternoon kick-off (2pm) and dog friendly. 

The line-up features two label stalwarts, The Double Happiness and The Holy Rollercoasters bookended by new signing Sanfeliu, (launching new single ‘LonelyVillage’), Spring Hill Walkers Club and Bronwen Gray vs. The Steady As She Goes.

Prong 2: The launch of Sam’s “Pooch Hooch” Dog Beer.

Only available at the 4000 Records 3rd Birthday show and limited to 50 x 330ml bottles. 

Having the launch in the dog-friendly setting of The Triffid Beer Garden provides the perfect environment for our four-legged friends to come along and enjoy some fine tunes and a frosty cold one with their best mate.

Prong 3: House Keys is a compilation album curated by 4000 Records featuring 21 south east QLD artists performing cover versions of songs by other south east QLD artists. 

There's the likes of The Double Happiness, We Set Sail and Hanoi Traffic taking on the likes of Regurgitator, The Go-Betweens and GinaG (yyyyeeeeppppp!).

The album is available on double CD with beautiful watercolour artwork by Peter Lambie (@choppychopkins) as well as wherever you choose to listen. 

All proceeds from the release will go to Brisbane community radio station 4ZZZ.
