G Flip has announced her first ever Australian shows after taking SXSW by storm, playing 8 shows and winning fans every step of the way. G Flip is 24-year-old Melbourne based Georgia Flipo who just last month released her debut single "About You" an instant classic which has put the singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist-producer on everyone's radar. From topping Spotify charts to acclaim from NPR's All Songs Considered, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, The LA Times, Pigeons and Planes and more.

G Flip, born Georgia Flipo, fell in love with the drums as a kid and travelled the US as a touring drummer in her early 20s. Never one to sit still, Georgia then locked herself in her bedroom studio for all of 2017 and taught herself how to write and produce her own songs.

While incubating her new project, Georgia created a round LED screen for the front of her hand-made kick drum which can display any imagery, video or content that Georgia can dream up. This is Je Ro Mo, G Flip's animated "talking drum kit" - named for Jenny Rose Morrish, her late drum teacher.

Her self-produced debut single "About You" is an addictive, bittersweet shard of shimmering pop, inspired by her "hectic, toxic, cinematic" on-off relationship. It was the very first track Georgia pieced together, recorded in a day in her bedroom studio into "a shitty mic from the local pawn shop". 

G Flip is the real thing: unfiltered, driven and bursting out of her bedroom with ideas to burn.
