BREAK EVEN "I'd Rather Be Giggin 2015 Aust Tour"
I'd Rather Be Giggin 2015
Full Australian Tour February / March
with Break Even, Hopeless Endless Heights & Postblue
In 2010 we saw the first ' I'd Rather Be Giggin' tour travel national wide across Australia with one of the most impressive local punk/hardcore line ups the country had to offer, now in 2015 the tour is back stronger than ever hitting every capital city in Australia with a stellar line up of past and present that people will remember for years to come.
Having left a legacy in the punk / hardcore community across Australia and around the world back in 2012, BREAK EVEN have re-grouped and are gearing up to be giggin in 2015.
BREAK EVEN's honest and heartfelt approach to songwriting has left a lasting impression on the hardcore community, and their new song 'Young & Bright" speaks as not only a fond memory, but a celebration of what's to come
After keeping quiet for the past few years, the founding members of HOPELESS are together again and eager to share their bleak, reflective and naively optimistic brand of melodic hardcore, for one final tour.
Starting out in late 2007, five friends made a name for themselves through hard work on the touring circuit in Australia and abroad, writing well received releases and being respected as a band that took nothing for granted.
In the eighth year of the bands existence, HOPELESS have decided to go out just as they started, together and with a bang. Giggin' was what HOPELESS did best. Don't miss your this opportunity to see them play...as it may be the last time.
5 friends with a passion for music and adventure ENDLESS HEIGHTS are a band that have established themselves as one of Australia's most hard working currents bands.
Having toured Australia with music names of Basement(UK), Northlane, Trophy Eyes, Superhaven(USA) and In Hearts Awake amongst others, ENDLESS HEIGHTS aren't afraid of sharing the stage with whomever it may be, priding themselves on a DIY vision and an honest aesthetic the band continue to grow and grow while making as many memories as they can along the way.
The band look to further their international giggin with most recently a Headline Tour of South East Asia this year, and more of Asia and Europe in the works for 2015.
Rounding off the tour is Byron Bay's own POSTBLUE, with having played shows with the likes of Violent Soho, Title Fight, Luca Brasi, The Smith Street Band and also working hard releasing music through Rest Assured & Poison City records.
POSTBLUE have done a impressive amount of giggin for still such a young band to where they have already played spots at Splendor in the Grass and the Poison City Weekender Festivals.
With a sound that lurches between alt-rock, and fuzzed out shoe gaze while paying homage to the 90's greats, the band has carved out a sonic niche that is uncompromising, and unmistakably their own.
I'd Rather Be Giggin 2015 touring nationally throughout February / March.
