This New Year’s Eve, trot over to Collingwood Children’s Farm for a riverside countdown of the windmill that was.
Clop those hooves to some open-air grooves (courtesy of our carton of good eggs*) ‘til it’s time to hit the hay.
Think: Fresh air (yes). Space to dance (ooof). River sounds (10 hours ASMR). Farm animals (please don’t feed them). Dirt (lots). Sticky floors (less). When (pigs fly). Dramatic meteor shower (unlikely, but not impossible)... on a farm in the middle of a city (for real).
So round your mates up for a legen-dairy hoedown as we bear witness to the last sunset of the year with LIVE music, GOOD food, and G.O.A.T energy.

We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day. We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, on whose land this event will take place. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. We welcome all First Nations people to reach out for free tickets to the festival. Just email us at info@whenpigsfly.com.au.
There is a strict zero-tolerance policy towards racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or harassment of any kind. Please report any unwelcome behaviour to staff or event organisers.
Please note there may be some strobe lights used in performances on the day. No outside alcohol or glass is permitted. Patrons are welcome to bring their own food, picnic blankets or chairs. We will have food available for purchase throughout the day. Strictly no pass-outs. Check out our punter's pack for more info on the event including accessibility info, getting to and from the venue and more.
