Thursday September 23rd Vaguefun will be releasing their debut EP "Crossroads "

Born out of an eclectic combination of indie, jazz and pop, Vaguefun are a Brisbane band with a bright, infectious sound that has to be played on repeat. Vaguefun formed the band after coming together in the same music class at the age of 14.

They started performing and writing in their spare time and after 3 years released their first single in 2018 'The Way She Moved'

Vaguefun continue to carve out a unique sound in the Brisbane music scene, inspired by their 90s pop and jazz infleunces.

Joining them on the night is Brisbane based singer-songwriter Sophia Scott who draws her influences from indie, pop and folk threads.

Sophia Scott’s sound is hard to confine to one genre. Her debut single ‘We Were Almost’ came out in May 2021.

Sophia is looking forward to showcasing the versatility of her writing in her live sets.

New to the brisbane scene are 4-piece Brisbane band Van Moss. Flag Duty are a four-piece indie, pop rock band from Brisbane who have captivated audiences since their inception in 2018 with their genre-blending sound and undeniable live energy.

The band draw on an eclectic mix of modern and nostalgic rock influences to create their colourful sound, combining the musical hooks of indie rock with catchy pop melodies and honest lyricism.

An amalgamation of previous bands, Flag Duty consists of singer Ben Hobart, bassist Tom Jolly, guitarist Abi Ashford and drummer Lachlan Barnard. In July of this year, the band released their long-awaited debut EP, 'Living in Daydreams'
