ARIA-award winning artist Tyrone Noonan, best known for his vocals, guitars, keyboards and songwriting in the Brisbane band George, returns to the 2020 Queensland Cabaret Festival to debut his new album “Utopia?” His 5th solo effort in a multi-faceted career has been delighting fans on the airwaves but this will be the first chance to hear it live and in person after lockdown.

The first single Black Dog is a positive, upbeat yet honest song about depression. It’s told from the perspective of someone who’s been through the journey, offering hope to someone who’s struggling and while the song was written before COVID-19, its release seems quite timely.

"Black Dog smacks you in the face. It’s bluesy undercurrent drives you forward, a front porch rocker with a irresistible musicality that lingers in the air." - Freshly Squeezed
