Emerging Adelaide electronic-cum-indie-cum-punk-cum-pop trio TONIX launch their latest single “I Was Asleep” along with some very special guests ZERO CITY (Melb) and the live debut of GUSH (Adl).

The new single, an atmospheric anthem, “I Was Asleep” shines a light on the powerhouse vocals and cathartic songwriting. Brought to life with saxophone licks and bold synths, the track radiates big emotion.

TONIX lead singer Sammi Keough says of the track "Putting what TONIX do live into recorded music has always been the hardest thing, butI Was Asleepis as close as we’ve ever come to recreating a festival sound in the studio. It’s a warning to one’s younger self, reflecting on being naive and blind in a relationship, and a theme that has bonded us as individuals in a band.”

Bringing their electrifying live set and new single to the stage, TONIX are set to play Revolver Bandroom on Saturday 17 August. Expect a party!
