TWIF EP LAUNCH

The Window in Floyd (TWIF) is an alternative indie rock project.  The project was born in 2018 when singer/songwriter Ron met fellow guitar player Richard.   The meeting of the two fused Richard’s love of angular guitar playing and math rock, with Ron’s predisposition for male+female vocal melody, synthesisers and dance inspired beats.  With a shared love of guitar music, TWIF was conceived as a combination of all these ingredients.  Following the release of their first single ‘Hologram’ the two parted ways and the launch of TWIF’s debut EP (Recency) put on hold whilst the search for a new line-up was undertaken. The result has been the addition of Drummer Andy, Guitarist Dave, and Backing Vocalist Manon, all of whom share in TWIF’s original musical vision, but with a collective desire to usher in a new chapter for the band.  The four have been hard at work refining their live show for the up-coming release of Recency at Boney on Saturday 12 October.  The band has also released singles ‘Lights of Paris’ and ‘Violets’ and have been working on new material for their live show.
