The Long Sunset - a radiant new event in the Scenic Rim
As Queensland’s summer starts to mellow towards Autumn, the Scenic Rim will roar to life with The Long Sunset, Australia’s newest boutique regional music event.
Set in the lush surrounds of Elysian Fields, Canungra – home of the Wangerriburra people - The Long Sunset will bring you a sweet program of Australia’s top acts and a basket-full of local gourmet food and art fare.
Heading up the main stage is Australian indie-folk royalty Angus and Julia Stone, appearing together in Queensland for the first time in almost three years. Brisbane joy-machines Ball Park Music and psychedelic throw-back kids Babe Rainbow will also be taking the stage, supported by Jack Gray, Nice Biscuit and Clea.
It doesn’t get much sunnier than that!
Take a breath, pack a tent, and hit the road for a short drive from Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay to enjoy the majestic beauty of the Scenic Rim – just announced as one of Lonely Planet’s Top 10 places to visit in the world for 2022. How good!
This will be top-flight goodness of the highest order.
NOTE: Camping has sold out.
