The 5.6.7.8's: Tokyo's Rockin' Retro Riot Hits Australia!
The 5.6.7.8's, Tokyo’s legendary garage rock trio, are hitting Australia in March 2025!
Since their explosive debut in '86, sisters Yoshiko “Ronnie” Fujiyama and Sachiko, alongside their long-time friend Akiko Omo on bass, have been a driving force in blending rockabilly, punk, and garage rock with a unique cultural twist.

Known worldwide for their iconic "Woo Hoo" in Kill Bill Vol. 1, The 5.6.7.8's deliver an unforgettable live experience. Catch them in Sydney, Brisbane, Beechworth, Hobart, and Melbourne!

Don’t miss this legendary band bringing their retro vibe and bold energy down under.

Sunday 23rd March - Hobart @ Altar Bar

Straight outta Tokyo, The 5.6.7.8's blasted onto the scene, mixin' it up with a wild cocktail of rockabilly vibes, garage rock grit, and punk punch. This ain't your average band, folks! Kickin' off in '86, sisters Yoshiko “Ronnie” Fujiyama and Sachiko have been the beating heart of this outfit. For this tour down under, they're bringing along their long-time friend Akiko Omo on bass, keeping the lineup fresh and the music rockin'.

Their name's snagged from classic music counts, but these gals ain't just about numbers. They're smashin' language barriers with their killer mix of English and Japanese tunes, paying a rad tribute to the golden era of '50s and '60s American rock, '60s British rock, and Japanese Showa music, all while channeling the raw, rebellious energy of '70s punk.

Remember Kill Bill Vol. 1 ? Who could forget The 5.6.7.8's and their electrifying "Woo Hoo" that set the world on fire? Yep, Quentin Tarantino himself gave them the nod, catapultin' them onto the global stage and straight into the hearts of rock and indie fans Down Under.

The 5.6.7.8's are like a turbocharged time machine, blastin' back to the sweet sounds of yesteryear while pushing the envelope with innovative jams. Their authentic vibe and fearless genre mashups make them icons of the indie and retro scenes.
Rock on, The 5.6.7.8's!
