The South Australian Music Awards is a stand out fixture on the UNESCO Adelaide City of Music's calendar of events and will return on November 22 at the prestigious Bonython Hall, at Adelaide University.
The SAM Awards exist to recognise, promote and celebrate excellence in the South Australian contemporary music industry.
Once again, the award categories will include both People's Choice Awards, voted by the public, and SAM awards, selected by a judging panel of local and national industry peers, awarded at the music industry's night of nights - the SAM Awards Gala Ceremony.
Alongside Music SA, this year's SAM Awards will be presented in conjunction with major partners; Government of South Australia (through Music Development Office), Adelaide University, Moshtix, Australian Hotels Association (SA Branch), The Music, and beverage partners Yalumba, The Hills Cider Company and Young Henrys.
Expect live performances, food by Adelaide Woodfired Pizza and The Woodfired Pizza Co as well as Bits n Bites, with beverages by Yalumba and Young Henrys Brewery.
Hosted by Triple J's Declan Byrne.
The ceremony is an open event, available for anyone 18+ to attend.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Please note the final release of tickets will be 'in seated rows' in the dress circle. Main course will not apply in this area. Drinks and Canapes will still be available.
The SAM Awards are family-style long table seating in rows of 100.

Entrées will be served in the form of grazing boards. Main courses will be wood oven pizzas.
Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-Free diets will be catered for.
All alcohol is vegan friendly.
